The CRC has seen a significant decrease in insect infestation of blueberries. Accordingly, blueberries no longer need an extensive washing and checking process. All that is required is a rinsing under a strong stream of water.
The exception would be for organic blueberries that would still require washing with soap and checking via a thrip cloth. This policy is in effect until April 1, 2022

Morning Fresh Farms frozen vegetables bear an unauthorized STAR-K symbol. non-certified products include broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, collard greens, turnip greens, Brussels sprouts, and all mixes that include any of these items. These products have not been checked for tolaim (insect infestation). Breaded okra is also not certified. These products were found in stores in the southeastern United States.

Some non-kosher productions of Seasons Sardines, Sprats, and Kipper snacks have been produced and may have found their way into some supermarket kosher sections. Make sure to double check that the product you have has the OU on it.

Healthy Touch at the MJCC has recently reopened for Breakfast and Lunch. Check with Healthy Touch for more information.

The Toco Hills Kroger and other stores used to carry reliably certified kosher bagged lettuces and coleslaw. They have switched brands to one that is not approved (KORC) and would require checking if purchased.
