Andy’s Frozen Custard
- Vanilla and Chocolate custard are recommended only when used with recommended toppings (see kosher letter for more details)
Baskin Robbins
- Almost all products are kosher certified (Star-D) with a symbol on the container
- Rocky Road ice cream flavor is not kosher, custom built cakes and loose toppings in individual stores are not under Star-D certification; these must be individually checked by the customer
- Because not every flavor is kosher, it is recommended to request that the employee clean the scooper before serving you if the scooper is shared with a non-kosher ice cream
Dippin’ Dots
- All Dippin’ Dots products are kosher certified by the OVK and are often found at stadiums and attractions

Other Non-certified Ice Cream Stores
- When an ice cream store is not certified kosher – even if it claims to use a kosher mix – one should not buy unless someone with proper halachic training is able to independently verify all ingredients and processes
